Brickworks Engine Castings
- This model was designed by the late Cyril Taylor as
an engine capable of performing a job of work.
- Its inspiration is a long forgotten engine seen on the Lincolnshire
Fens in a brick and tile works
- The drawings we inherited were traditional hand drawn and were incomplete
- We have taken the opportunity to redraw this engine & present
it in our standard book format of one page per part
- The 80 page bound book includes parts lists & exploded views along
with some basic notes to help with construction
- The castings include bed plate, slide bars (4), bearing pedestals
(3) plus caps (3), cylinder plus end caps (2), valve chest & cover,
pump, pump support, governor upper & lower brackets and 12"
diameter flywheel
- The bed plate is 26" long with the crank supported on three bearings.
2 1/4" bore x 3 3/4" stroke
